                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 5911
                   HIGHWAY 153, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   HIGHWAY 153 SOUTHWEST OF GOTHARD ROAD, FROM R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                A tract of land located at 5911 Highway 153, being
                on the northwest line of Highway 153 southwest of
                Gothard Road.  An unplatted tract, being all of the
                property described in deed book 4120, page 836,
                ROHC, deed book 4160, page 540, ROHC, deed book
                4160, page 545, ROHC, deed book 4183, page 185,
                ROHC, and deed book 4217, page 93, ROHC (said deeds
                being quitclaim deeds to the same tract of land),
                and the east 146 feet of the property described in
                deed book 2014, page 585, ROHC; said properties
                forming one tract fronting 200.12 feet on the west
                line of Highway 153, and extending westwardly 173
                feet.  Tax Map No. 91I-A-14.
               
               
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
